Click

Fancy a little scare?

Today I have a great little short film for you called Click. It's longer than usual, at least as far as the shorts I usually post go, but it's worth the time. The story is simple: a group of kids wander into the waiting clutches of something sinister while exploring the darkness of an old abandoned building...

It's really well-done. The film excels at building tension and dread. In a day of crap CGI effects and tediously telegraphed and worn out tropes, it's amazing how easily something like an idle kids' game can suddenly seem like such a bad idea and how a single sound effect and a simple trick with the lights can be used so effectively.
